In the case of Hoopla Sewing washable pads, the width of the pad is not adjustable, for several reasons.
Firstly, while we are all different and have different sizes, over the years I have found that for the vast majority, the same width is suitable.
Secondly, I didn't want to place too many snaps on the washable pads to avoid them being bothersome.
That's why I make wing extenders alongside the washable pads, which are very easy to use and overcome this problem.
With wing extenders, you can easily lengthen the wing of your washable pad by 1-2 cm, making it wider!
When should you try wing wideners?
If your pad creases after snapping it on, doesn't lie flat during use, and isn't comfortable when you wear it, then you'll probably need them too!
In such cases, I always recommend that you try them with wing wideners as well!
By using them, your washable pad will be 1-2 cm wider, which, in my experience, is just enough to make them comfortable for you. 💛
So, if you encounter such a problem during the first use, don't give up, because with a small change, you can easily remedy the situation and make the use of the washable pad comfortable.
